Position Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring TNT’s facility and vehicles are safe, clean, well-maintained, and fully operational in support of our mission. This role includes supervising part-time staff, managing the facility budget, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and collaborating with leadership to meet operational needs.
This position is both hands-on and strategic, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and keeping operations running smoothly.
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Limited evening or weekend hours may be required on an infrequent basis to support events or facility needs.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Grounds Management
- Ensure the facility is fully operational, with all utilities functioning properly
- Schedule, oversee, and assist with maintenance and repair work
- Perform routine janitorial and groundskeeping tasks
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors working on-site
- Maintain and ensure compliance with the Operational Maintenance Calendar
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including inspections
- Support energy management initiatives
- Respond to incidents, outages, and urgent facility issues
Vehicle Management
- Schedule and supervise vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Assist with hauling equipment for events
- Oversee training and onboarding of new drivers
Financial Administration
- Manage the facility budget, including development, monitoring, and adjustments throughout the year
- Track and prioritize capital improvements and vehicle-related expenses
- Maintain inventory levels of facility supplies while adhering to budget guidelines
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources
Safety & Security
- Mitigate risk and oversee safety of buildings, grounds, and vehicles
- Manage facility key distribution and digital access codes
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety standards
- Support and enforce organizational safety procedures
Long-Range Planning
- Partner with the President & CEO to support planning for future facility growth, renovations, and vehicle needs
Additional Responsibilities
- Supervise part-time facility or transportation staff
- Enforce TNT policies and emergency procedures
- Maintain documentation, inspections, and reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience supervising others in a team environment
- Experience in facility management, maintenance, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to attract, retain, and motivate employees
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience managing budgets and resources effectively
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and building utilities
- Basic construction and general repair knowledge (e.g., carpentry, building systems)
- Self-motivated with the ability to make independent decisions

- Ability to move and position oneself to complete maintenance and safety tasks
