Preschool Gymnastics Coach

PRIMARY FUNCTION:  
Serve TNT’s mission by building and fostering relationships in a fun, positive, and safe environment. Recreational coaches create and/or implement age-appropriate activities to enhance skill development and achieve the desired skill objectives.

HOURLY WAGE: $14.00 to $24.00

Responsibilities and Preferred Requirements:

  • All candidates must have a passion for building relationships and positively influencing youth through movement
  • Unlock Potential while learning all content needed to teach the curriculum  
  • Complete administrative tasks associated with scheduled classes (attendance, skill tracking, evaluations, etc.) 
  • Keep customers safe by teaching age-appropriate activities and enforcing gym safety rules. 
  • Complete all nightly cleaning duties and gym reset tasks. 
  • Stay current with upcoming TNT Events. 
  • Maintain all required certifications pertinent to position (TNT will train all required skills and certifications)
  • Experience as a gymnast or ninja athlete, or working as a gymnastics or ninja coach, childcare employee, preschool teacher, para educator, or elementary teacher preferred
  • Attending, interested in attending, or graduated from university for: Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Early Childhood Education, Physical Education, Psychology, Primary Education, Developmental & Adaptive Physical Education, Exercise Science, Coaching, Nursing, Health Education, or Special Education. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Physical tasks such as moving, adjusting, and setting up equipment upwards of 50lbs.  
  • Ability to position self in multiple ways to ensure safety through performance of specific skills.   
  • TNT is a fast paced environment and the successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly and self-reliant.  

TNT’s Recreational Coaches may work in the following programs: 

  • Baby & Toddler gymnastics
  • Preschool gymnastics
  • School-age gymnastics and Ninja classes

Hours will vary with this position throughout the year:

  • Flexible scheduling 
  • Morning, evening, and weekend hours available

  • Bonus Pay Available for Birthday Parties on Saturdays, 11:30AM to 5PM
